Carpal Tunnel Syndrome: What to Do About It

Spread the love

From the Mayo Clinic:

“Carpal tunnel syndrome is caused by pressure on the median nerve. The carpal tunnel is a narrow passageway surrounded by bones and ligaments on the palm side of your hand. When the median nerve is compressed, the symptoms can include numbness, tingling, and weakness in the hand and arm.”

Because the median nerve runs FROM YOUR NECK (caps are mine!) through the shoulder, arms and hands, poor neck posture and shoulder issues can affect your wrist.

When the median nerve is compressed by your lower neck vertebrae being out of position (subluxated), they will “pinch” the median nerve.

My job is to put the vertebrae back into their normal position to “unpinch” the median nerve.

BUT WAIT! THERE’S MORE!

Orthopedists describe what they call a double or triple “crush syndrome.” This means that the median nerve can be pinched at the spine, shoulder, wrist.

My post-doctoral certification in Sports Injuries gave me the tools to adjust neck, shoulder, and wrist.

A simple test will tell me if you have Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.
