Poor posture has many effects:

 

  1. Stress on muscles, especially neck and lower back.
  2. Inefficient breathing.
  3. Abnormal spinal curvatures.
  4. Stress on internal organs.
  5. It can affect your mental attitude and how the world views you.

Quick posture fix:

  1. Imagine a string attached to the top of your head.
  2. Imagine that string being pulled up to the ceiling.
  3. Bring your hands behind your back, grab one wrist, and pull down gently. Your shoulders should be back.
  4. When you sit, make a forward curve with your lower back. Your shoulders should also go back and your head up straight.
