Poor posture has many effects:
- Stress on muscles, especially neck and lower back.
- Inefficient breathing.
- Abnormal spinal curvatures.
- Stress on internal organs.
- It can affect your mental attitude and how the world views you.
Quick posture fix:
- Imagine a string attached to the top of your head.
- Imagine that string being pulled up to the ceiling.
- Bring your hands behind your back, grab one wrist, and pull down gently. Your shoulders should be back.
- When you sit, make a forward curve with your lower back. Your shoulders should also go back and your head up straight.
