About me

Spread the love

As I transition into a new office space, the picture on my Homepage means even more to me. It symbolizes Chiropractic in its purest, simplest form, a laying on of hands with precise movements guided by caring and love to release the tremendous healing potential of the body.

I graduated from New York Chiropractic College in 1980 and, 43 years later, after helping so many patients get healthy and stay healthy, I am still filled with wonder over this wonderful, drug-less, healing art.

I received a post-doctoral certification in sports injuries and have used those skills to treat not only athletes but anyone who uses their body for work or leisure. This extends to shoulder, wrist, hand, knee, and foot injuries or stresses. I became a Personal Trainer in 2014 in order to enhance my treatment of these conditions as well as prescribing appropriate, safe, and effective exercise programs for all ages.

My other great passion is teaching. I have been teaching anatomy and physiology in different schools over the years and have enjoyed the interaction with students as well as keeping up to date with the latest developments and research in the field. I am proud to say that this past year, I was awarded the Distinguished Educator of the Year by Career Education Corporation, which owns the 24 Sanford Brown Colleges across the country.
